The project at 40 Chorlton Street Manchester is a rooftop extension on a former cotton warehouse and the 2-story extension creates 8 new hotel apartments.
Extensions are commonly problematic for airtightness testing, and the Seddon team understood the value of investing in early consultancy and site advice visits, together with preliminary sample testing to ensure that the primary air seal line was performing as expected. As a result of the attention to detail shown by the site team, a first-time pass was achieved.
