The £16m Walkabout redevelopment is a mixed use scheme from client Dorsett Hospitality International and contractor Westfields.
BE have been appointed to deliver air tightness testing, thermographic surveys and acoustic testing.
The project delivers an eight storey serviced apartment block with ground floor entertainment space and basement plant areas. There will also be associated Hotel and Commercial space linked to the development.
The site comprised an old Walkabout pub, and was formerly one of the oldest movie theatres in the country first built in 1910. The proposals include retaining the original façade to compliment the adjacent Grade II Listed Building whilst creating a modern building overlooking Shepherds Bush Green.
